We are looking for smart and innovative engineers to build our Embedded System competency Center in Cairo, Egypt. The center is intended to act as the expert reference for all our projects with our customers. The competency Center is a global team with the main mission to provide excellency in terms of execution and delivery.  


Role Description: 

For the development of Automotive Radar Sensors we are looking for a System Architect, who is interested to work in the area of Automated Driving. You as a System Architect will be responsible for setting up the System Architecture of the product, i.e. bringing together the SW Architecture, HW Architecture, Mechanical Architecture to one overall Sensor Architecture as the best match as the platform for our next generation of radar sensors and as base for our application projects for customers worldwide.

Your main tasks are:

  • Definition of System Architecture elements in a team with other System Architects
  • Provision of the rationale for the decisions about the system architecture
  • Elicitation of design requirements derived from the System Architecture
  • Development of a common solution in close collaboration with the various stakeholders
  • Reduction of the technical risks of the developed System Architecture
  • Communication of the architectural design decisions to the development team
  • Tracking of the successful validation of the requirements
  • Performance of reviews with the stakeholders within the project team
  • Reporting status of requirements, traceability, and completeness / consistency

 Qualifications: 
    • BS/MS in System/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
    • 5+ years of relevant experience with strong system design background
    • Good experience in System Architectural Design (SYS.3)
    • Good experience with SysSML tools i.e. Rhapsody
    • Experience in FTA / FMEA methods
    • Experience in requirements management tools i.e. DOORS, DNG
    • Basic experience in configuration management methods (SUP.8)
    • Experience in deriving and verifying requirements, (SYS.1) and system requirements analysis (SYS.2)
    • Knowledge of ISO26262 / ASPICE is an advantage
    • Experience with Automotive Embedded Systems is an advantage
    • Fluent English – German is a plus
